If Fox says Solyandra is a waste of money, why aren't they mad about oil subsidies in an established market?

I've never heard republicans complain about 4 billion a year in subsidies, which were 8 times higher than Solyandra. These oil companies have been making profits while Solyandra and green energy is just starting out.|||Fox probably have stock in oil. They complain about solar energy because if it takes off it will replace dirty polluting oil and their stock will go down.|||Michael, did you get the memo that Solyndra is bankrupt and will NEVER show any profits whatsoever?

If you are mad about corporate welfare (Solyndra was a corporation) why would you want it for companies you support?|||Solyandra never started out, it failed it went bankrupt. Jobs weren't just not created, they were lost. The country lost jobs after solyandra. You can't defend giving money to a company that failed and basicly does not exist anymore.|||Other than the fact that we know oil exists, and we need to get to it, and it isn't a fantasy, or a political crony filled company... you're right, no difference.|||Big oil is making huge contributions into their re-election funds.|||because Fox gets kickbacks from oil companies\|||They are hypocrites.|||They should take a look at the idle ethanol plants . The subsidy checks still go out on time .
