Mad Men series - How much in todays money?

I was watching Mad Men last night and in it, Don Draper had his salary increased to $35,000.





Now, the series is set in 1965 so obviously, back then this was a HUGE amount of money ..... so, roughly what would $35,000 be worth in todays money?





Thanks for reading - and answering!|||I was alive in 1960 my dad brought 62 dollar a week and he had a good paying job min. wage was 1.25 so it would be at least 250,000 I just double check it would 250,903|||Actually the series is set in 1960. Most people took home $1/hr. $35K in today's money is roughly $250K, which is more than alot of people even today make.
