In Mad Money why do they shred the money? Do they shred money in real life? Im confused?

haha i get your question and yes when the money gets really old and worn down they do shred it|||yes they do shred money in real life, when bills get worn and they only last so many months in circulation they shred it....they used to put shredded money in things and you could buy it we had a bunch of it i cant remember where we got it though|||Yes, old worn out bills are shipped back to the federal reserve where they shred it and then burn it.|||ARE YOU SERIOUS? Yeah, and they really kill each other in action and horror movies too.|||its not real money but in real life they do actually do that|||its not real money
