okay, im totally confused if you dont know what movie im talking about its got queen latifa, and katie holmes etc.. its about them robbing a bank
anyway i went to video ezy wanted to rent the Mad Money and the actual covers that you cant take home said PG there were three of them but the case that you actaully take home said M
so i went to see what it was really rated turns out the disk said PG on it but on their computer it said M
now i checked the actual official website of Mad Money and it said PG-13 then i went on the video ezy website and it said M
please help !!!! whats it rated|||pg-13
M is just "mature"|||Back in the day (nearly 40 years ago) movies were rated G-all ages M-Mature audiences (includes teenagers) R--restricted to 17 and over, and X-- 18+ only.(annoying people like my parents, couldn't handle the nebulous decision of what or who was mature--they weren't obviously,) so the board changed it to PG-13.You had to be 13 and above and much as my parents carped, it couldn't be interpreted any other way.So in essence I could see Bonnie and Clyde at 14 but my friends under 13 did by the old rating.WARNING: Bonnie and Clyde is really not appropriate for kids under 17; and Midnight Cowboy failed miserably for it's unjust X rating. We thought that was reserved for pornography,so rather than deal with it the board dumped the X rating altogether The scam in the old M rating coming up again is putting those 14-17 year olds back in limbo again so they'll turn a deaf ear on parents that carp.Isn't sloppy regulation Beautiful?
