I want to be a waitress or bartender but i'm mad with dealing with money?

Are there any waitress's out there that could tell me how the end of the night works when people leave there bill do you ask if they need money back or what? If they put to much do you take it or give back? %26amp; does the cashier actually say what to give back?|||You take what they leave.

You should learn what the policy is.

If 'mad' is a typo for 'bad', about handling cash, then you will need to learn PDQ, or you will be down the road.

They want to be able to rely on you to be able to handle cash, and to make change.

They are not like a supermarket when the operator punches in the amount of cash you present and the machine will tell them how much to give you as change.|||NEVER NEVER EVER as ak customer if they want the change back, it sounds as if you are begging for tips.

Depening on the typew of bills/coins they put down, you give them the change.

EG: if the bill is 22.50 and the customer puts a twenty a five and two "ones", they are leaving you a tip. If they put a 20 and a 10, give the change|||Obviously they would answer those questions when they train you for the job..
