Is Mad Money Jim Cramer Stock Picks or Sell Valuable? Experiences?

I used to listen to him. I prefer some of the stock guru's on Fox Business Network. Charles Payne and Tobin Smith are 2 of the best in my opinion.|||They are more valuable for a short-term investor or someone who likes to make trades weekly or monthly. For the long-term they may not be the best, though he is brilliant.

Go to the Motley Fool website. They have better picks for the long-term.|||pick a few of them and just watch if it does do what he says or not, good learning exp.|||Despite claims to the contrary, Cramer is a "trader" advisor, not an "investor" advisor. He is knowledgeable about stocks but I would look elsewhere for long-term investing advice. Hilary Kramer is an excellent source.|||Cramer is controversial. But he does have a large following. Consequently what he says about a stock often has a significant short term impact on the share price. I tend to stay away from stocks he picks or pans.

As another said, Hillary Kramer is better. Unfortunately, she is no longer actively positing picks.|||I personally don't put any "stock" into what these types of advisors say. If you examine the track record for their careers, you find that it's no better than you could have done yourself by flipping a coin or throwing darts at a list of stocks.

Which is to say, they either break even or lose money in the long run.

This is a fact. All you need to do is research their track records.
