Can you get tickets for his show? Where is this show located? NYC?|||its in new jersey, not new york city (although they would like you to believe it is new york)
TV studios are the most unglamorous place on the face of the earth.
englewood cliffs, there's not an easy way to get there from NYC you have to take a new jersey transit bus from the port authority.
i couldn't think of a worse use of time if you are visiting a wonderful place like nyc|||I think it is in the NBC studios in New York.
I do not think he has an audience so no tickets. |||New Jersey.

I am selling a 4x4 (gm blazer K-5) it was a project i put mad money into.?
my parents are making me sell my truck0 Dana 44 front, corporate 14 in back. all my money is in the axles and the 12 inch lift. were is the best place to sell something like that. in pa|||Auto trader publishes a 'truck trader' that's sure to get your k-5 noticed. its cheap and will be circulated around your half of the state. its available at most gas stations and party stores and for the amount of offers that you are sure to receive its not a bad price.|||Your best luck will be online message boards or classifieds that specialize in off-roading vehicles. On the regular market, most of the modifications will be ignored, and you will not get nearly as much as you paid for them.
Why wasn't mad money on CNBC today?
They repeated Fast money about 5 times, and no other programming was on (mad money, the big idea..)|||He was off for Yom Kippur - He's Jewish. He'll be back tomorrow.|||Because Jim Cramer went too far this time. That is a man that should be in prison, not on TV. Did you know that even before he was banned from having anything to do with the funds that he started, he never once ever matched the index performance?
Mad Money the ending song?
Does anyone know which is the song at the end of the movie Mad Money? (when they are with all the money and a song with some great beat is starting in the background)|||The name of the band is "The Heavy", the name of the song is "Coleen".

What do you think of Mad Money with Jim Cramer?
great show. very entertaining and has some good info. keep in mind though that on average, he's only 51% correct in his advice and predictions on his show so I'd take his advice with a grain of salt.|||An entertainer. A clown, like most of the people on CNBC. His show seems to be modeled on Bozo the Clown. Buy, buy, buy Sell, sell, sell Honk honk. Booyah. ts sad to hear those people who are gullible enough to call his show.|||He has a little too much common sense for the current administration.|||He is strickly entertainment, with a bit of being right occasionally.|||Good Entertainment, but he did give one good advice "Do you own homework before buy."|||the greatest show on the Market I have ever watched. He is amazing!|||Entertaining, but hardly balanced.|||dave ramsey is better|||he seems highly p.o'ed, cant blame him though. how far down is the dow? 6500 or so?|||He's smart but annoying|||he gets on my nerves
How do you feel about the USA sending money to other countries, does it make you mad with the economy so bad ?
Do you think the money should be used here in the USA to help people who are homeless, veterans and people who lose their jobs?|||I think it's sad. We just sent $1 Billion to Georgia after Russia attacked them and we have a crisis here in the USA. Would you pay somebody's mortgage if you were having financial troubles at your house? |||It's my personal belief that the USA should absolutely NOT be sending money to countries who oppose it. In other words, why feed your enemy? All aid to foreign countries that are against us (no matter how slight) needs to be stopped. And Yes! That money could be used right here for exactly the help you have specified.|||It makes me curious as to why you seem to think that these other countries actually want your help.
Think about it; America, because of the recession, enters into a state of abject poverty comparable to welfare in third world countries.
Russia comes along and offers Aid.
What would the American Establishment do, i wonder?|||Look at this way. If your neighbor's house was on fire, would you give them a glass of water or loan them the water hose? That is what our aid amounts to. It does not put out the fire but allows the governments a measure of control. Containment is all we want. We don't want their particular fire spreading to our place.|||mate how do you think us aussies feel when we are in a similar boat thanks to you guys and yet we are still sending money overseas. so stop ya winging|||It saddens me that in a country as rich as ours that we have hungry and homeless people. People dying due to lack of medical care when we could be doing so much more for our own people.

Were you impressed to see Hillary on Cramer's "Mad Money"?
She is the only one of the Presidential contenders who accepted his invitation to answer his questions. While I do not agree with her, I have to give her a lot of credit for appearing and answering his questions. Can't wait to see if Obama or McCain will come on and answer policy questions, too.|||Hillary showed a remarkable knowledge of the factors affecting the economy and the capital markets. She has real details and real plans. Obama just loves to go before adoring crowds of 20-year-olds and orate. He doesn't do nearly as well unscripted. I wouldn't count on an appearance by McCain. Too hard--math!|||No|||if she really wants to impress me,she should try suicide|||I didnt see it.
What did she say?|||Lets see what the others have to say before we pass judgment.|||Cramer sucks. He totally told me not to worry about Bear Stearns.|||I use to pay good money for Cramer's advice, Turns out he wasn't any better than I was at picking stocks. The both of them carry very little weight in my book. All talk with very little substance.|||Yes...She made some true statements and offered solutions.
Obama is still making vote enticement statements with no back bone or anything to back it up with.|||i cant belive a man woud say such horid things?|||Obama's a coward and can't think on his feet and McCain has no advantage to look weak on the economy at this time.|||Very appropriate-her health care plan is "mad" and Hillary Care failed the first time.
It is "mad" to force people to buy something they may not need. Sen. Obama has a plan that will actually pass Congress.|||Not that I am a fan of Howard Dean's screaming money cousin but I am sure they might, just to prove they can talk about money and to get the free publicity.

Is Mad Money Jim Cramer Stock Picks or Sell Valuable? Experiences?
I used to listen to him. I prefer some of the stock guru's on Fox Business Network. Charles Payne and Tobin Smith are 2 of the best in my opinion.|||They are more valuable for a short-term investor or someone who likes to make trades weekly or monthly. For the long-term they may not be the best, though he is brilliant.
Go to the Motley Fool website. They have better picks for the long-term.|||pick a few of them and just watch if it does do what he says or not, good learning exp.|||Despite claims to the contrary, Cramer is a "trader" advisor, not an "investor" advisor. He is knowledgeable about stocks but I would look elsewhere for long-term investing advice. Hilary Kramer is an excellent source.|||Cramer is controversial. But he does have a large following. Consequently what he says about a stock often has a significant short term impact on the share price. I tend to stay away from stocks he picks or pans.
As another said, Hillary Kramer is better. Unfortunately, she is no longer actively positing picks.|||I personally don't put any "stock" into what these types of advisors say. If you examine the track record for their careers, you find that it's no better than you could have done yourself by flipping a coin or throwing darts at a list of stocks.
Which is to say, they either break even or lose money in the long run.
This is a fact. All you need to do is research their track records.

Why is McCain mad that Obama is a money Machine?
he bought a 30 minute slot ob Cbs and Nbc for Oct 29th.
McCain wants to know were all that money is coming from.
Obama has lots of money from here to Election day.
McCain is getting out spent for everything big.|||he'll get more than a few bucks of your money.. he'll get your whole life savings and majority of your income for the next 4 years|||Those poor democrats are donating for a worthy cause. The GOP people put up good rhetoric but they don't donate. Are they more poor on average than the democrats? or just don't like spending money for the common good?
BTW Obama got a few of my bucks and he will get a few more from me.|||Becasue McCain is starting to save for his retirement since he lost most of his money in the stock market.

What type of investor is Jim Cramer of Mad Money?
Is he a:
Fundamentalist
Technical analyst
Random walker
From watching just his show one time, I think he is a fundamentalist. What do you think?|||Jim tends to be a value investor based mostly on fundamental analysis. You weren't asking for opinions about Cramer but he has made me a lot of money so I tend to trust his judgement but he doesn't do much with technical analysis. Good luck. I have a lot on my website about Cramer|||i guess he s kinda a son of a bit.ch investor... isn t he?|||He uses a combination of the two (technical analysis and fundamental analysis). The only reason I say this is because he has experience as a hedge fund manager and has to have had (at some point in time) heavy exposure to market volatility. He's been accused of being a pump and dumper, which would suggest his use of some of the principles of volume trading, which is a hallmark of technical analysis.|||could be a Random Walker but more of an AH|||he is not. He just guesses based on lowsy data that he gets in less than a minute. How can someone possibly listen to this guy. He is a fake. I would say random walker.
Invest in gold and comomidites by the way. They will hedge against the coming inflation.

Anybody here made some serious money from the advice on 'Jim Cramer's Mad Money'?
I have made some, but not serious, big-time bucketsful. But then again, I am not investing large amounts.|||I asked a question sort of like this earlier today. Read my answers.
Below is one of them.
"Here's a hilarious website that compares Cramer's "Mad Money" recommendations with that of a coin flipping monkey. The monkey's name is Leonard (hilarious)! As of today, the monkey is the better stock advisor."
http://www.cramerwatch.org/|||His advice on large cap stocks is good but not small cap stocks. If you want to make some serious money from his advice buy options instead of the stock. This is system is more risky but the returns are tremendous.|||never invest Your lunche money.

On Tuesday's Mad Money show, which Cold War phrase did Cramer reference?
Warsaw Pact|||Am not sure but watch out for that guy. He is not as smart as he thinks he is and sometimes gives bad advice -boooyaa|||Warsaw Pact
What was the name of the mad money episode where they talk about the best jobs to have during a recession?
The best job to have is Health care right now. RNs would be great. This recession will not last, while baby boomers are getting older and need health care. Tires and maintenance are great....people are not buying cars and fixing their cars. Alcohol and Tobaccos are great too. Great for working but not great for drinking. Start a biotech firm in regards to curing lung cancer would be great but its a long term investment. Going into electrical engineering and electrician would be great too since we are about to get into a change in energy. Mass transits would be great too.... You cant start one but work for one.

How can I get money for a vacation without working mad overtime at work?
I am going on vacation in august and i want to book the trip as soon as possible to get the best rate. I want to know is there any way to get money for a vacation quicker then just working?|||Sell unwanted/unneeded items, like have a garage/yard sale. Sell clothes that are too small to the Salvation Army thrift shops. Just some suggestions.|||I know of a way. It will cost you 5 dollars for me to sell you my idea, though. I am not trying to scam you or anything. I sell my idea all over the world and it truly works. I have made up to 200 dollars in two 3 hour days. Again, I am not trying to scam you. If you mail or paypal me 5 bucks I will give you my idea. The reason I am not giving it away in public is because I don't want everyone to start doing it. It is super simple, in fact, ive been doing in since i was 13 years old.

It takes a bit of work, but all three are legit and the referral programs are decent. I just started using CashCrate (the top link) but I have been told that people are known to make a few hundred dollars every month with it. So far it seems pretty good. The last one, inboxdollars, i've been using for a while. It's slow to cash out, but again, the referrals are pretty good.
Besides that, I would say try selling and buying on EBAY. I'm saving for school, so I'm using all of these right now. It's definitely helping me out haha.

Benefit for sick child, parents blow money, should I be mad?
I helped and attended a benefit for a dying 4 yr old, the benefit was stated it was for funeral expenses and the father of the child to be out of work for one month. They blew all the money on large screen tv and expensive dog and did not pay anything they said there were gonna pay with the money.. Do I have a right to be mad?|||There are a lot of those scams going on. You should report them to the media so that they are made an example of real bad blood.|||Maybe, but it won't do any good...perhaps the big screen tv and dog made the child happy and it was all good after all?|||Yes you do , they took advantage of the situation.|||Don't be mad - there's nothing you can do.... there's people like that all over the country|||You have every right to be mad, but nothing will come out of it.|||I'd be mad too. Isn't there something that can be done about people doing that stuff? That's like people killing their children for insurance money. How wicked.|||You do have a right to be miffed but ask yourself - what does it change? You can either stew and get angrier and angrier or you could come out of the experience wiser. The latter would probably be less work.|||no|||It's normal to be upset and I would be too. It IS wrong to blow money for your child's funeral on pets and a tv. I'm guessing the child has passed already? They are probably grieving terribly, and blowing that money is something that just happened, I'm sure it wasn't their "master plan". I wouldn't say anything, because while they used the money on stupid things, they still have to live with the debt of their child's funeral expenses. So over all it's their choice, and they have to live with it.|||You have the right to be mad, but that's about all you can do, except maybe shed light on any future fund raisers they do.
Its a mad mad mad mad "Mad Money" world?
I watch Jim Kramer on" Mad Money "almost every evening. Although I don't watch the market closely I love watching the antics of Jim. He is downright entertaining. What a sense of humor this guy has !, but I seem to detect a cynanism in his tone about making money its as if he detests the idea of focusing ones energy on making money. Am I wrong?|||No, I agree with you. That is why he runs a charitable trust and gives us "normal people" the inside track that someone who knows the stock market can give, but for free. I have no money to invest, but I do listen to his radio show and have seen his TV show. He is smart and funny.|||no|||Probably....if u detect cynanism then u shouldn't watch.|||Jim Kramer is a rambling Idiot. Wow hes got some real loose wires. Why do people who borrow money get mad and stop speaking when you?
remind them to repay you?|||There are some people who, if you lend them fifty quid and then never hear from them again, it was worth it.|||Guilt feelings and lack of responsibility.|||Because they think you "owe" them for their friendship. I had a guy friend who would pull this same crap with me, and so I just had to stop lending him any money. Every time he asked me, I'd just tell him I didn't have it. He would want to borrow money from ME quick fast and in a hurry, but when I would ask for it back, he'd get upset. Go figure. Yeah, dude I'm just going to give you $100 here and there for the sheer enjoyment I see from your face! -not~|||I know! It amazes me every time, that's why I don't lend out money anymore. They are losers and they should be embarrassed not mad.
They seem to be thinking everybody owes them something.|||ohh i know.
i stoped giving it away.

But if you simply just keep hounding them for money constantly and, rushing them or asking them to completely disregard priorities such as certain bills that can get annoying and you're doing nothing but putting more stress on them.|||They think of the obligation and not the favor. They know in their minds they owe you and don't want to deal with, and if they were responsible to begin with probably wouldn't have needed to borrow the money. This has happened to me too, helped someone out and was treated very nastily for nearly a year until I confronted the person and demanded the repayment. I got the money and then the person was nice again. Strange but true.

The wild man of Mad Money says Canada is better run than the U.S.?
Jim Cramer says Canadian businesses are better run and led, also that Canadian politians choose to "do the right thing" more than American politians. That they have more backbone. Anyone agree?|||I am Canadian and I think that Canadian politicians are just as corrupt as the American's and elsewhere in the world. He couldn't which tells me Bush is a liar and knew from the very start that CIA evidence was manufactured.|||i think so|||maybe he should move to Canada

Is it when you take you man's money and put it to the side for emergancy's. Or when you just take any money and put it to the side.

Mad money, is there for you, it is an escape plan.
OR, if you are ok, "mad money" is money for playing with.|||I think the other answerers are confusing "mad money" and "pin money".
"Pin money" is when you make money by working and put a little aside for unexpected purchases, something enjoyable and fun.
"Mad money" is when a girl goes on a date and keeps some extra cash on her, in case things go wrong and she needs to go home on her own (such as take a taxi).

For those who watched Mad Money yesterday: How do I make a profit on gain days when comission comes into play?
Jim Cramer said on gain days sell some stock to lock gains but what about the comission fees. you arent making money if your stock goes up 50 cents and you sell and your comission is $5. How do I apply Cramer's idea without losing a lot from comissions?|||Mistake number One - Listening to Cramer,
Mistake number Two - try to invest/trade when you don't understand what is happening.
Before you start investing/trading you should learn what you are doing, why you are doing and how to do it. Following Cramer is not the way to go.
Most experienced traders/investors do not have fees/commission as a primary concern in making decisions. The services and producst offered by their brokerage firm are more important than petty charges.
|||Volume! The sales commission is $5 for the entire order, not for each share. So if your stock moved up 50 cents a share, and you own 100 shares, you're up $50 and pay $5 as commission to sell. Still hefty, but not as bad as owning like 10 shares, where you'd make $5 and give it all up for the commission. When buying and selling stocks, you should always buy a position that has enough volume to not get killed by the commission of buying and selling the stock.|||That is the fallacy of day trading, which is in fact what Cramer recommends. Unless you're dealing with large blocks of stock, the commissions will eat into your gains (not to mention capital gains tax).|||hey ill be your broker. Did Katie Holes really turn down The Dark Knight to do Mad Money?
If so, that is absolutely hysterical. Stupidest career choice ever.|||it wasn't like she turned it down, but she got mad at the producers for not giving her any percent from the box-office
besides, it's not always a *choice*, she had legal obligation to work in Mad Money, even if she wanted to she couldn't do The Dark Knight - prior arrangement with the Mad Money production team wouldn't let her leave the project (it's called "scheduling conflicts"). But as I said, the rumors are that she took the box-office thing personal.

Is jim Crammer book mad money the ultimate book for investors teaching fundamentals whats ur favoritew book?
Cramer's book is okay.
Its clearly written, entertaining, and accessible for someone who is not very familiar with the stock market.
His investing rules are good advise for long term investors.
His value/fundamental investing style is appropriate for most long term investors.
Another book that is good for long term investors is 'How to Make Money in Stocks' by William O'Neill. O'Neill advises a momentum strategy of 'buy high and sell higher'. He advises uses a combination of technical and fundamental analysis to make investment decisions. If you are interested in a more aggressive strategy with higher turnover, this is a good strategy.
If you are interested in short term trading, start with "Trading for a Living' by Alexander Elder. This book is a good introduction to market psychology and technical analysis.|||I just bought Jim Cramer's book. I'll let you know what I think about Jim's book once i finish it.

How much effect does Jim Cramer's Mad Money have on stock price?
Stocks generally go noticeably up or down depending on Cramer's recommendation the previous evening on Mad Money? Anyone know how, why, impact of day traders, show watchers, money managers?? thanks|||The smaller the stock (small market cap, # of shares floating around, etc.), the bigger the effect. He's really popular right now and based on his recommendation of a small stock, the stock could go through the roof. But for a large stock (such as an Intel, MS, etc.), the effect would be marginal and short-lived at best.|||Here's what I've noticed:
If Cramer talks up a stock that hasn't yet been touted by analysts, then the stock price seems to pop (go up) shortly after the market opening. Sometimes it's only 2-3%, but depending on how much you invest...
Long term, his effect is probably minimal.

This new movie called "Mad Money" is apparently about women who steal money that is intended to be detroyed.
Does that actually happen in real life? Is money ever destroyed? Why isn't it distributed amongst the poor?|||yes it really is destroyed after a period of time and or if damaged (countys mint makes that call) what your thinking of is good in theory but if it were frewely circulated arround carelessly inflation cost would jump ( IE Germany Pre world war II where a wheel barrow of cash could get you a loaf of bread) the value of money is guaranteed against an acce[ted amount of gold so for the more cash floating arroud the lesser its value.|||Old money is taken out of circulation and replaced by newly printed money. It is an exchange not just destruction.|||They burn the old bills as they print the new ones, it's just a replacement of product.|||Bills are taken out of circulation all the time, as they wear out and as new bills are printed. If money was never taken out of circulation, the value would go down as new bills are put into circulation.|||Money is destroyed because it is too warn out. This happens routinely every day at the Federal Reserve.
It is replaced with new money in the same amount, in the same way that all new money is placed in the system.|||Yes it does. But security is very, very tight, and really doubt anyone would be able to get out the door with any of the money to be destroyed. What is the scoreboard behind Jim Cramer on Mad Money?
In the background is a digital clock with what appears to be symbols for bulls and bears. Under these symbols there are different numbers every night. Last night they were 89 and 1. What are these numbers, what do they signify?|||The score board is used in the final segment called the lightning round. During this segment Cramer impresses us with his stock knowledge. The lightning round lasts about eight minutes and the score board is used for the countdown to the end of that segment. The numbers you ask about I'm not too sure about but could be indicators of the leaders and the lagers of the DOW.|||I don't think it could be DOW losers and gainers because the numbers never add up to the amount of stocks in the DOW.
